Path to Prosperity

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Genesis 23-24, Matthew 7

"And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them."
Genesis 24:60.

A Mother of thousands of millions!? Woah there, I'm not so sure about that! Of course we know that this means over a long time and many generations she will be the Mother of that many. Just think! We are continuing a line of growth as well! Our family trees probably have some kind of direct connections to Rebekah, somewhere, some way! It's all about a continued promise traveling down a path to prosperity! When we purpose ourselves to connect with God, He will ALWAYS prosper our way!

"And I said unto my master, Peradventure the woman will not follow me. And he said unto me, The Lord, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father's house:"
Genesis 24:39‭-‬40.

Abraham walked BEFORE The Lord, and when his servant arrived at the proper place at the proper time in prayer, God brought Rebekah out to the servant BEFORE he was even done praying about it! She was the one God provided for Abraham's son, Isaac, to marry! God prospered the way! When we get in touch with God first, we miss a whole lot of detours & distractions! We can look ahead to Matthew 7 for a confirmation of this:

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matthew 7:7.

We prosper when our SOULS prosper! When we seek an abundant spiritual life, God allows everything else to fall into place where it needs to be. All the rest will come in time when we give God our time!

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2.

After God confirmed Rebekah to be the right woman through the connection with her family, Abraham's servant confirms that God had him on a path to prosperity. He says that because of this answered prayer, he cannot be hindered to go back to Abraham & bring Rebekah to Isaac:

"And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the Lord hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master." Genesis 24:56.

Hinder me not! I have to get to the next miracle! The Lord will continue to prosper us as we prioritize that special connection to Him!

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
