PEACE

PEACE

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG!? Lol. I'm sure we've said this to the kids a time or two (while we parents are also included in that chaotic mess!). All we want is peace:

"If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." Romans 12:18. GIVE IT ALL YA GOT! As much peace as you have in you, muster it up and let it manifest itself. It's worth it to be peaceful, because you can't fight fire with fire, as the old saying goes! Later on in Romans 12 it states:

"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
Romans 12:19. Leave the task up to God of giving people what they "deserve." He knows best what they deserve, anyway!

Jonah cared more about a weed than all the people of Nineveh, even though he could clearly see the compassion God had on him when the big fish returned him to shore!

Although vengeance is The Lord's, He also is patient with us and has a great deal of compassion. Let our first habit be to bring peace, and let us pray that we may not show anger or bitterness. LET GOD TAKE CARE OF IT ❤❤❤

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
