PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING!
"And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." Job 1:21. Job was a man in the Bible who was tested to the greatest measure. All was taken from him (his wealth, family, health, etc!) yet he continued to love & respect God through the process of his pain! He had nothing and STILL God was everything to Him! That sure is love & dedication! So...glass half empty, or glass half full? As Job said, we are born with no possessions, we die with no possessions...but our relationship with God lasts FOREVER!
Take a look at Esther too! She became queen of Persia, and learned that her people, the Jews, were going to be killed deceitfully by the king's minister, Haman. She had to go to the king, even knowing she may lose her place as queen and die too. She stated: "Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish." Esther 4:16.
She was willing to die if it meant she would have a chance to save her people! All she cared about most was being in favor with the TRUE King, our Lord Jesus Christ, our God! There's always a bigger picture to what we're goin through, and there's always a different perspective to pain & problems. Lord, help us to see things through Your eyes! In Jesus' Name. Amen!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
