Plot Twist!

Gina Pietrzak

Bible Reading Today: Matthew 23, Luke 20-21

Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

A great plot twist usually happens when something dramatic takes place in a book or movie. We get so excited to tell our friends all about it, but we all know it's better if they experience it for themselves...as much as we so desperately don't want to hold it back! A plot twist usually involves a problematic situation as well...hence, the drama...if we look forward to the plot twists we read about, what about our own lives? Now I'm not saying we should look forward to drama, or that we should gossip...but at the end of the day, the unexpected plot twists we go through in our own lives add to our story...or, as this Scripture states, our testimony. God uses these things for great reasons, and for His great glory, no matter how difficult the situation may seem. All those challenges, hurdles & adventures will be added to our testimony. We can share it with others. We can look at the bigger picture of how God was in it all! So go ahead-share your plot twists! Share your testimony! This is one story that won't ruin it for anyone else...they'll be inspired to embrace their plot twists too!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
