Praise Anyway!
Bible Reading Today: 2 Samuel 7, 1 Chronicles 17
Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
2 Samuel 7:22
Do we believe God's plan for us is great, even if we have little control over it? That can be a hard one! However, appreciation of God's goodness was David's response, even if God's answer to David was "no." David praised God anyway because David always knew God had a great plan for his life, and he humbly submitted himself to God's direction and re-direction. When David wanted to build a temple for The Lord, God's answer was no. God was going to allow his son Solomon to build it. It was mainly because David was a man who was involved in much war over the years. Was David upset at all? Not in the least! David praises & says "God, you're great!" We can be out of control, just not out of the will of God! Let's be content no matter where God leads us!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
