Pray for ALL

Based on Deuteronomy 16-18, Proverbs 2

I'm sure we all have a million questions at this time-especially for those in leadership. What are you going to do? How are you going to handle this? Our impatience for a solution can also lead to not only questioning, but criticism: Why is he or she handling it that way? How will THAT ever work?

"And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites: And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:"
Deuteronomy 17:18‭-‬19.

Regardless of our opinions, there is a Truth. There is only One God & one way to trust! This is why we must pray for ALL. Even when we don't agree with the person in a particular position, actually, ESPECIALLY when we disagree, we need to pray! This above passage of Scripture was directed toward the Israelites who wanted to put a king in place. Their leader was to be ordained by God, and well-versed in Scripture in order to keep an orderly society. This is what we need today! We need to pray for all our government leadership to strive for authority based in The Word of God, and we must follow suit!

"Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God."
Deuteronomy 18:13.

Woah, what!? Perfect?? Yes, perfect, but ONLY with The Lord thy God! When everything is out of our control & things seem impossible to change, GOD has answers-and there is access through prayer! We can see perfection today. We can see a glimmer of hope today. Just remember to PRAY! Also, there are lots of things and people we want to see changed through prayer-but we can't be afraid to let ourselves change a bit, too!

"Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life." Deuteronomy 16:3.

Sometimes, we need to look back & remember where we came from too before we judge others. We've all had our times of suffering & hardship-for many people, that time is now. This turn of events is not easy on anyone, so let's be careful about that & just pray instead! Why stress emotionally when there's so much physical stress & sickness already?

"And thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to place his name there." Deuteronomy 16:11.

WE SHALL REJOICE! With all those who may have it hard right now...we shall rejoice! That time will come. We shall rejoice as a country when we pray for unity instead of division, among all the different types of people & levels of leadership & authority. Remember to give God the glory all the time, because rejoicing will come as it states in His Word. Just give it all to Him in prayer instead of judging in these uncertain times.

"Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God."
Proverbs 2:3‭-‬5.

God has the answers! Trust Him in prayer & be blessed!!
