Bible Reading Today: Ecclesiastes 7-12

Ecclesiastes 12:10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.

I am so thankful for the preached Word of God in my life! Every time we come to service, God has a planned message, quickened to the mind of our Pastor, a presentation is prepared & we leave with the promises of His Word renewed & rejoice especially over the promise of the Holy Ghost being poured out! Just as this Scripture states, the preacher seeks to find acceptable words, which are upright & true, that we need to hear. When he hears from God in prayer, He delivers it to us! Between the preparation & the promise, there's a faithful preacher...a Pastor! Pastors definitely deserve a lot of respect, and we should continually hold them up in prayer as they seek to hear from God to benefit us! While we do need our own connection to The Lord, we also need a word preached, explained, expounded upon & anointed as it pertains to the whole Body of Christ! Remember, you were born to be a member of a Body...and a member can't stand on its own for long! What an incredible Spiritual support system we find in the preached Word & the family of God!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
