Preventative Prayer

Reading of the Day: Psalms 87-89

Psalm 88:13: But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.

One thing I've mentioned a few times in these posts, and The Lord reminded me of through His Word today, is the power of preventative prayer. In this Scripture, it talks about how our cry to The Lord in morning prayer will prevent Him. In other versions, "prevent" is translated to "come before" Him. When our prayer "comes before" God in the morning before we start our day, it will "prevent" or "come before" any troubles that day may bring! With preventative prayer, we pray our way into things so we don't have to pray our way out of things! We are ahead of the game because we bring everything before God first! We should always strive to have daily preventative prayer so we don't have to have daily panic prayer! We must cry unto Him before we cry in defeat & desperation, already being stuck in a situation! I have found so much peace in problem-handling and problem-solving in relying upon The Lord instead of relying upon myself. I let myself down quite a bit! Any time we find ourselves overwhelmed, angry, or annoyed where it shows negatively to those around us, we have lost our peace and lost our spiritual balance-but we can easily get right back up through prayer! And we can pray before those situations arise through preventative prayer! Prayer is always the answer....and the faster we are to get into prayer mode, the quicker we will be to overcome our daily obstacles in Jesus' Name!

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
