Proper Prosperity
Bible Reading Today: 2 Kings 15, 2 Chronicles 26
2 Chronicles 26:5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
Uzziah did many great things as king, one thing after another. He started being king when he was 16, and even at such a young age, he desired to be a king who served The Lord! As the Scripture says, as long as he sought The Lord, God made him to prosper. Unfortunately, one thing indeed led to another, and one day, Uzziah decided he got where he was at in his own strength & power. Prosperity became his goal instead of pleasing God, and he took it upon himself to go burn incense in the temple...even though he was not a priest! He thought any position was HIS position. He thought himself more highly favored than others. He did not seek The Lord in that decision, and therefore did not prosper! He got leprosy! We must remember that proper prosperity begins with God! We have to remember that if He brought us this far, He will continue to bring us into greater things!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
