Re-Position
Based on Jeremiah 24-26, Titus 2
"Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good." Jeremiah 24:5
There are good figs & bad figs as it states in this chapter of Jeremiah, but both needed a repositioning! All God's people would be cast out of the land due to the Babylonians, but some would die & not return, while others needed a re-focus & refresh of their godly priorities & value systems!
"For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart." Jeremiah 24:6-7
There were some "faithful figs" who loved God, but maybe needed to enhance their walk with God a bit...again, they needed some time to freshen things up & enliven their relationship with God a bit! For those people, God had a promise! God still has a promise for us too, but each day we must see what we can freshen up, and understand that God re-positioning us isn't always a bad thing-in fact, the first above Scripture states it was for their good!
"teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;" Titus 2:12
If we are living a more dedicated life to the world & the rotten figs instead of the good, we need to get re-positioned urgently! God is ultimate satisfaction & ultimate fulfillment. We need Him to direct our path, and our good God can always make a good fig, even with a rotten past! We all have had some rotten things take place-but God can position us for greater things, even if it hurts in the moment!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
