Reach out & receive it!

Reading of the Day: Joshua 18-20

Joshua 18:3: And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

The division of the promised land was almost done at this point, but there were still 7 tribes who did not yet go out to actually see their land & map it out yet! And in this Scripture, Joshua basically said, "What are you waiting for!?" That reminds me of what God must think with us sometimes. We sit around worrying & contemplating how things are going to work out, but if we would just reach out in prayer & receive what God has for us, it's already mapped out, step by step! We don't want to miss out on our blessings, promises or answers from God simply because we don't ask! Whenever we reach out to God, we receive all we need! Just like the vast land which was laying before the Israelites, we have a vast, abundant wealth of opportunities if we would just reach out & receive it from God! He is right there with you right now! He is our greatest Resource to turn to, and not just that, He is the Lover of our soul! If we could place our trust anywhere, it should be in Him! Scripture also says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matthew 7:7. We don't have to complicate the way God works! Now of course, we should ask everything according to His will for our lives. We should not just ask for any random thing...but The Lord always knows what we are in need of! He does not have any difficulty supplying our needs! Again, the best place to put our trust is in Him alone. If we reach out to Him in praise & receive the promise in faith, it's already there!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
