Rejoice: HE IS HERE!

Based on Psalms 4-6, Acts 17:16-34

"But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: Let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee."

Psalm 5:11

The presence of God is everywhere. He can be seen in all of His creation! We can always rejoice in knowing that He is close, and that the closer we draw to Him, the more joy will build up in us as we see more & more of God all around us!

"The LORD hath heard my supplication; The LORD will receive my prayer."

Psalm 6:9

We see Him all around us, but we can get even closer in connection with Him in prayer! We can rejoice not only because we see Him, but because we can get to know Him! Many of these Scriptures in Psalms unfold the beauty not only of God's creation, but in the beautiful creation of a relationship with God!

"God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;" Acts 17:24

God is in every land near & far...but He wants to be in our hearts! In the temples of our bodies as we get into the Body of Christ! We can rejoice because He is THERE for us, or we can rejoice because He is HERE for us! When we receive His Spirit with evidence of speaking in new tongues, we develop the closest possible relationship with Jesus until we see Him again!

"that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:"

Acts 17:27

This closeness, this experience, is right in front of us if we go to Jesus in prayer & seek Him with our whole heart. We shouldn't simply want God at a distance. We must rejoice because HE IS HERE IN OUR HEARTS! This is what the Psalms were dreaming of and singing of. It was the desire of the Psalms, and it can be our reality now as stated in Acts! Time to rejoice, because HE IS HERE!
