REMINDERS

REMINDERS

We live in a fast-paced world. I know it's true for me that if I don't write something down or schedule text messages, I'll probably forget the important task which needed to be done. Other times, it's just plain old prioritization faults & time management difficulties. We need constant reminders! We can't rely on things being important enough to remember-even then, and especially then, we need to remind ourselves when to do things and why we do them.

In continuing to pursue a daily reading of Psalm 103, I noticed some reminders of why we should, and need to, bless The Lord. It's because of WHO He is!

Here is a brief list of some of the "Who's:"

"Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;"

"Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;"

"Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's."
Psalm 103:3-5

Jesus is Healer. Forgiver. Redeemer. Satisfier. And so much more! When we have these reminders, it's so easy for us to remember to "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." Psalms 103:1

So schedule your reminders for the week! But don't forget to schedule in your reminders to bless The Lord. To remember WHO He is, especially on the toughest days, or on another Monday like today! Have a blessed week in Jesus' Name!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
