Right Place, Right Time
Psalms 16-17, Acts 20:1-16
"Preserve me, O God: For in thee do I put my trust." Psalm 16:1
Our only Preserver & Protector is God! When we place our lives in His Hands, no matter how difficult things may seem, we will be in the right place at the right time! Whether it be sparing us from a dangerous situation or facing it head-on with the strength of God at our side, it will be the right place in His right timing in order to be used for His glory! If we pray & read through His Word, we will find that direction to keep us on the path God wants us!
"The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; Yea, I have a goodly heritage." Psalm 16:6
We need to rejoice & appreciate the lines & lanes God has us walking in! Only by temptation is the grass greener on the other side! God has a fruitful plan for each one of us, and we have to trust the borders & boundaries He sets for us! We need to get into the Body of Christ, His church, and bloom right where we are planted! Paul didn't build up individuals alone...he built up CHURCHES! We need the Body of Christ to function! We must appreciate those lines that have fallen upon us in pleasant places!
"I have set the LORD always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: My flesh also shall rest in hope." Psalm 16:8-9
All of our heart, soul, mind & strength will rejoice when we pursue God! Again, we will be in the right place, at the right time, and start to see God's amazing plans for our lives unfold! We need to set Him before ourselves, and be humble. When we go forward without God, we find ourselves at the wrong place, at the wrong time...so let's go forward, onward, upward & GODWARD, as it has been put so many times!
"As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness." Psalm 17:15
Are we satisfied with Jesus? Or do we look for another, as John the Baptist has once questioned. The road isn't going to be easy, but it will be RIGHT! And we will have God's help all along the way, just as Paul did!
"And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him." Acts 20:10
A man fell out of a window, a tragic situation, but for Paul, it was the right place at the right time! He prayed for him & the man was ok! God will use each one of us if we are willing...we just have to be in the right place at the right time with God!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
