ROAD TO PENTECOST: DAY 2!

Bible Reading Today: 2 Samuel 24, 1 Chronicles 21-22, Psalm 30

Psalms 30:3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

I am doing a series this week called ROAD TO PENTECOST, because Pentecost Sunday is THIS COMING SUNDAY, 5/28 at 10:30AM! My goal & focus in this series is to show how The Lord's plan of salvation is present in most of our Bible reading & is essential for us to enter Heaven!

As this Psalm states above, God brings us out of the grave! But how does He do that? Remember those 3 Keys of Salvation we talked about in the last post? Well, let's take a deeper look at the deeper meaning! When we repent, we die to our sins. When we are baptized under water in Jesus' Name (the One & Only Name!), we are buried with Him. Then we rise in newness of life when we receive the Holy Ghost! In burying our sinful past in the grave, we rise up with Jesus in Heaven one day! Just another amazing & essential reason we need these 3 Keys of Salvation! Who doesn't love a fresh start, right!?

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
