ROAD TO PENTECOST: DAY 3!

Bible Reading Today: Psalms 108-110

Psalms 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

I am doing a series this week called ROAD TO PENTECOST, because Pentecost Sunday is THIS COMING SUNDAY, 5/28 at 10:30AM! My goal & focus in this series is to show how The Lord's plan of salvation is present in most of our Bible reading & is essential for us to enter Heaven!

This Psalm paints a beautiful picture of what being born again can feel like...the beauties of holiness, the womb of the morning, the dew of thy youth...but how can we experience this? The same way we escaped the grave on Day 2! First, we need to say goodbye to our old ways in order to then say hello to something fresh & new! Just like a baby breaks through water & breathes that first breath of life, we come through the waters of baptism & Spiritually breathe in new life by the Holy Ghost! Just as a baby makes those first sounds, we also speak in new tongues in the Holy Ghost! Salvation is so simple, but as this Psalm also states, we need to be willing! We need to have the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in a holy, Heavenly language in order to live a life of holiness! Something SUPERNATURAL needs to take place! Are you ready!? Come join us THIS SUNDAY!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
