ROAD TO PENTECOST: DAY 4!
Bible Reading Today: 1 Chronicles 23-25
1 Chronicles 23:25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
I am doing a series this week called ROAD TO PENTECOST, because Pentecost Sunday is THIS COMING SUNDAY, 5/28 at 10:30AM! My goal & focus in this series is to show how The Lord's plan of salvation is present in most of our Bible reading & is essential for us to enter Heaven!
Rest is a rare commodity nowadays...another recent post was called "Restless" because, more often than not, we feel that way! Always on the move, or always something on our minds...but The Lord has given rest unto His people as it says in this Scripture! And this Old Testament reference of rest was just a taste of what God can do when we receive the Holy Ghost! Not only is this experience essential to our salvation, but it's essential for our sanity to survive here on earth! There is no sweeter rest or comfort found anywhere but with Jesus in our restless hearts...Jesus said in the New Testament that He would never leave us comfortless & He would send another Comforter...and Who would that be but The Spirit of God, Jesus Himself, The Holy Ghost!? But remember, you have to know by evidence you've received it! That is why we need to speak in new tongues! That seals the deal, and we break free from the past and break into the most amazing rest and peace we have ever had! "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." John 14:18

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
