ROAD TO PENTECOST: DAY 5!
Bible Reading Today: Psalms 131, 138-139, 143-145
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: Thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
Psalm 138:7
I am doing a series this week called ROAD TO PENTECOST, because Pentecost Sunday is THIS COMING SUNDAY, 5/28 at 10:30AM! My goal & focus in this series is to show how The Lord's plan of salvation is present in most of our Bible reading & is essential for us to enter Heaven!
Sometimes we think we have too much craziness, difficulty, negativity, you name it, going on in our lives, so therefore we choose not to come to God...we do not feel worthy...we feel that we need to straighten things out before presenting ourselves before The Lord...but actually, that's the EXACT right time to run to God, not run from Him! This Scripture says He will revive us, and His right hand shall save us! He WANTS to intervene! He wants to know how deep the wounds are, because He has experience with deep wounds! He will change all that forever and sever the chains of bondage from our past, but it's our choice! Repentance, baptism in Jesus' Name & receiving the Holy Ghost is the best way to start a new life! We don't have to run away & change our name...we can run to Him and take on The Name of Jesus!
