Season of Light
Based on Ezekiel 45-46, 1 John 2
"But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." 1 John 2:5-6
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105
If His Word is a lamp & light, and if we keep His Word, then the love of God is perfected in us, then the light of His Word brings love! Light & love are some of the most popular themes of the Christmas season...and this light of love has been shining into hearts since the beginning of time! Even before the first Christmas, there were seasons of light as people followed The Word of God! Ever since God said, "Let there be light" in Genesis, His Word became the brightest light and greatest form of love ever! Let's remember that during this Christ-time season!
"Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning." 1 John 2:7
Way back in Ezekiel, through all of his visions and encounters with God and the supernatural, "light" was a great theme! This is not a new light, just a light that has never gone out! Eventually, the holiday season will fade, and the Christmas lights will be put away...but let's not hide the light of His Word under a bushel!
"He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him." 1 John 2:10
Let the love of God light the way as we let His Word guide us this Christ-time season!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
