Seek to Know

Bible Reading 3/12: Deuteronomy 3-4

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

God is all around us. He sees all we do. He is omnipresent! But still, the Bible says to seek Him...this Scripture says that directly! That's because our God desires more from us than just an acknowledgment of His existence...He desires a relationship with us! A connection can't be made unless we meet God where He is already meeting us. We may think about God in our minds from time to time, but this Scripture says to seek Him with our heart & soul too! Are we loving God with our hearts? Is our soul concerned for an eternity with God? These are important things to think about! We need to KNOW Him, not just know ABOUT Him! Our God is so so good, and only has our good in mind-why not get to know Him more!? Our eternal life, at peace with our Savior, depends on it!

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:23

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
