Separation Initiation

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Ezekiel 42-44, 1 John 1

"Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy." Ezekiel 42:13

A holy place is always a separate place. It's a little get-away. It's a sanctuary. It's a church...and it also should be our hearts! We need to be holy, separate people, just as the priests of old had to enter into a separate place in order to complete this holy process of sacrifice & offering. Even the garments that the priests wore needed to only be used inside the holy place! Maybe it's time we had an official separation initiation? Maybe we need to re-dedicate ourselves, or even find that special place for the first time? Remember, just as the garments were new, WE need to be new creatures too!

"He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place." Ezekiel 42:20

The only way to have holiness is to receive His Holy Spirit, while also being repentant of heart & getting baptized in Jesus' Name! Then His Spirit & our new Spiritual nature leads us into a new, holy life separate from corruption! Nothing better!

"This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house." Ezekiel 43:12

Is this the law of our house, or the suggestion of our house? Are we quick to impose & apply God's ways, or ways that may not be God's plan for us? Let's pray & seek God in His Word daily to get direction in order to move more toward God & separate from sin!

"And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." 1 John 1:4‭-‬5

These things are all written to make life BETTER, not more difficult! Are we light, or darkness? Holy, or unholy? God created a fine line. There's no gray, just light & dark! Let's follow His holy pattern presented to us so we can have a true separation initiation!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
