Set in Order
Bible Reading Today: Exodus 39-40
Exodus 40:4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
Every step of the tabernacle plan was important...not just the practices, but the set-up as well. The layout has so many symbolic references to our walk with God today-even the items set in order on the table! Many things needed to be "set in order" in this tabernacle...just like we need order, structure & stability in our lives! If God desired for Aaron to take care that these things were set in order, then I am confident that God cares about setting our lives in order as well! If you're at a place where you want your life to function more smoothly, or are just in need of some type of change, small or great, God IS the Answer! He will bring order to a season of chaos! He will set the table & remove the mess of stress! "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." Psalm 23:5
