Reading of the Day: Numbers 34-36

Numbers 36:7: So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

God is so awesome...as we travel through the Bible, we see that more & more! He always makes sure that there is justice, and He always is fair with His people...and fairness isn't always what we think! Fairness comes in the form of inheritance, as we see in the Scripture above, but fairness also comes in the form of punishment for a crime. The good and bad are all noticed by God, and He deals with each justly and fairly. This is what these few chapters were about...how to navigate God's justice system! And more than anything, we see that He has something for everyone! No person was too insignificant for God-He made sure that the land inherited by each tribe was divided up fairly, even when it came down to the daughters of Zelophehad. Zelophehad died & had daughters instead of sons to pass down his inheritance to, and God still desired them to be blessed as well! Also, when it came to punishment, God designed cities of refuge to be built for murderers until they were able to be given a fair trial. We are not left out of God's justice system! We are seen & noticed by God! He has something planned for each one of us! He has a ministry! He has a calling! He has a blessing! We are not left out of the story! We are all written into it somehow. Just try God! Try church! See what He speaks into your spirit-you won't be disappointed!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
