Reading of the Day: Joshua 21-23

Joshua 21:45: There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Every good thing, every victory, every plan, every promise came to pass which The Lord spoke about to the children of Israel! This Scripture speaks volumes to us as well, not only to the Israelites...sometimes, we don't see a prayer manifested soon after we pray it. We wonder what's going on, or what we did wrong. But we have to remember, He may give us a promise, but He usually does not give us a timeline! As mentioned in a previous post, the Israelites sometimes had to take the long way around to their promises. There were vital things they had to learn along the way. But after getting over those things which were holding them back, they finally did enter into the land God promised...there failed not ought of any good thing! All came to pass! And that's what we can safely & courageously claim for our lives as well-all will come to pass, even if we don't know the "how" or the "when." Remember, God has it mapped out step by step, but He usually does not reveal each step all at once! We would probably get too excited, try to skip to the end, and trip over ourselves trying to just speed through to the end goal! We have to get to the promised land one step at a time! Every good thing will happen, and every single step matters along the way! Even in the waiting, something is happening! Something is going to happen! And we know this because so many great things have already happened in Jesus' Name!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
