Sound the Alarm!

Reading of the Day 2/12/25: Numbers 10-12

Numbers 10:9: And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

God is so gracious to us...and He is always so many steps ahead of where we are at, at any given time! Before we worry or complain, God has a plan in place! Before enemies came against the Israelites, God gave them alarm trumpets! If they were to be blown, then God would remember them & save them from their enemies! There was no need to worry about outside invasions...and that's because there was enough to worry about inside the camp! The Israelites were so quick to forget that God always has a plan...they just started complaining instead of praying, which is the true alarm sound God wants to hear! God doesn't want us to panic, He wants us to sound the alarm of prayer! Moses constantly interceded for the people, and finally admitted throughout these chapters that he cannot bear this alone. So, God put the spirit upon Moses upon more of the men to be able to bear the burden of the people with him. Moses not only knew how to sound the alarm trumpets of war, but he also knew how to sound the alarm of prayer in his times of feeling overwhelmed! If all the Israelites got hold of this, they would have no reason to complain! Moses even said: Numbers 11:29: "And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD'S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!" He wanted all the Israelites to desire that closeness with The Lord! Thankfully, we can learn from this & have His Spirit today! We can call on His Name, sounding the alarm of prayer! God will remember us every time, just like He did with the alarm trumpets of war! Don't hesitate; sound the alarm today!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
