Speak Life

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Deuteronomy 19-21, Mark 13:21-37

"When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it. 11 And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee. 12 And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:" Deuteronomy 20:10-12.

We never want to make it a habit of going on an anger rampage...if we do as this Scripture passage describes, then we need to speak peace first into the situation. In this case, speaking peace was speaking life! That's because it truly was a matter of making war or not. We need to look at our lives just as seriously when we speak to others! They could just be on our side. We could just be able to avoid a fight (or war) with this person. It's all about the approach! And this is exactly what Jesus did...He came doing good, and many received Him peacefully. But many also received Him angrily and accusingly, therefore the Scriptures were fulfilled and He was crucified and rose again...we may not be received well by all, but either way, peace first is always the answer! AND JESUS WON THE WAR FOR ALL!!!

"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is." Mark 13:31-33.

His Word is true, no matter what! We don't have to worry about who doesn't receive our words of peace...we just need to pray that they have a change of heart...because we know that beyond all the drama, war & fighting in this life, there is the even greater battle for the soul, and where we will spend eternity...we need to pray that each one of us keep an eternal perspective, and that each person we speak to accepts the message peacefully as well! The first step in the right direction is Acts 2:38!

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38.

Have peace with God by following His every Word! HIS WORD WILL NOT PASS AWAY, AND WE DON'T WANT TO PASS AWAY WITHOUT HIS WORD!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
