Speak Life
Bible Reading Today: Mark 13, Matthew 24-25
Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
The Bible is not just an ancient book, with words on a page...it is The Living Word! Jesus Himself, being The Word made flesh, gave The Word an earthly existence (although it already existed before our time and will live on forever!). And when we speak these words we read, we speak life! When we follow the words written, we live life to the fullest-a life which lives on to life eternal! God's Word is so much more than language...it's hope. Truth. Salvation. Peace. Joy. True love. Speaking Scripture is so much more than a message-it's a love letter from God Himself! We are so quick to respond to texts (to the best of our ability), and we also have the ability to respond to Biblical text by obeying The Word from our hearts! Have we hit "send" in order to give some love to God? Have we spoken His Word of life into our lives & the lives of others? There is power in His Word which never dies! Speak life-Jesus won't let you down!
