Speak The Name

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Isaiah 11-13, Ephesians 4

"And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted." Isaiah 12:4

The Name of Jesus is so powerful...we must not be afraid to proclaim Him & speak of Him in this day & hour! There are many bold statements being thrown around in society today, and many cause fear, doubt & hatred to flow rapidly through the heart of each citizen...but the Name of Jesus is what truly needs to be spoken, praised, called upon & declared among everyone! Even just speaking His Name with boldness and confidence can spark a change in this world...from hopelessness to hope! Every heart will be changed for the right reasons!

"Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee." Isaiah 12:5‭-‬6

He is Great in the midst of us! Just simply singing to Him does wonders...Paul & Silas sang & encouraged themselves in The Lord in prison, and the bars of the prison were shaken down! How many people are caught up in their own prisons today, trapped by their past, or mindsets which don't allow them to live freely as Christ intended? We must speak of Jesus to them, and let them know there is a way out, even when there seems to be no way!

"but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:" Ephesians 4:15

Speaking Truth, which is Jesus Himself (because He is The Word) is the only way we will see a growth in our nation which reaches all the way to Heaven! We will grow up into Him all things...not temporary highs, but reaching eternal heights! Some people don't know or comprehend that there's anything greater than the "now." We have to speak of Jesus, the One who went to the lowest lows & the highest heights for us, even to places we cannot see!

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." Ephesians 4:29

We cannot give in to the temptation to exalt the negative reports we hear surrounding us...it is so easy to go along with that, but my Jesus tells me there's more to live for! The Word of God builds people up! He causes unity, not division! When we speak His Name, there's power...when we speak His Word, there's power...when we receive His Spirit and are baptized with a truly repentant heart...there is ultimate power to overcome our challenges! Start speaking His Name & start a greater journey!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
