Spoken Strength
Bible Reading 9/17: Daniel 10-12
Daniel 10:19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
We've all heard, "Sticks and stones will break our bones, but words will never hurt us." While we don't feel a physical brokenness from words, we sure do feel an emotional brokenness. It may not be our bones, but some words cut to the core of our being. Thankfully, God's Word does the complete opposite! God's Word strengthens us, builds us up, and encourages us! It wasn't a miraculous muscle growth God gave to Daniel to give Him strength...it was Spiritual encouragement by The Word of God! Next time we're feeling weak & unable to keep moving forward, the best boost we can get is Scripture! We can then take that one step further-once we use The Word of God to build our Christ-like character & strengthen us, we can use the sword of The Spirit which is the Word of Truth to defend ourselves against that enemy trying to cause that physical and emotional damage we talked about initially! So I suppose The Word of God is actually spoken strength which builds us up, but also has the power to tear down the enemy! "Sticks and stones don't break the devil's bones...only The Word of God can defeat Him in Jesus' Name!" Let's speak strength by speaking Scripture! The cool thing is, His Word doesn't just do a Spiritual work-but He also is able to do a physical, emotional & mental work in us just by applying His Word to our lives! The spoken Word is spoken strength in every area! Let The Lord speak & speak His Word in faith!
Ephesians 6:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
