Stability as our Reality
Reading of the Day: 1 Chronicles 14-16
1 Chronicles 16:30: Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
David speaks some beautiful words in this chapter. Just as in his Psalms, he sings words of encouragement & uplifts the people. He sings about how God came through, allowing them to bring the ark back to Jerusalem. This celebration was a "welcome home" to the ark, but also to God! God was glorified & welcomed back into the hearts of men. David continued to make sure God was liftest highest in the kingdom...over any king, over any person, over any victory, over any riches. God is the reason for any of our successes...and also for our stability! We can stand upon His promises, because they are sure! As we discussed previously, if He says it, He will do it! That's why I just love the above Scripture, and that's why David could sing & profess his love for God so boldly! God makes our world stable, unmovable, and unshakable! When we fear Him above all else, we can have confidence when all else around us seems to be falling apart-our foundation upon The Rock will never fail! 2 Timothy 2:19: "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." So what kind of world do we want? Is it really possible to live with stability in a world that seems to be falling apart? Absolutely! When we keep standing upon Scripture & reading these beautiful songs & Truths day in and day out, we begin to live it! It becomes our reality! We begin to not only feel hopeful, but we see God fulfilling it all around us! Others will begin to see it & be drawn to Him, and our world will start to change! 1 Peter 3:15: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" Make stability your reality when you make Christ your King!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
