Stand Under God's Hand!
Based on Genesis 39-40, Matthew 11
Continuing on in the story of Joseph, we are how he went through a lot of ups & downs. But, no matter where he was tossed & turned, God's mighty Hand was steady upon his life! And that's because Joseph's heart was steady with God, trusting Him every step of the way! A steady heart toward God will ease a worried mind & bring true rest under God's Hand!
"And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand." Genesis 39:3.
Prosperity happens when God is the One in control! Joseph didn't give into the pressures around him; he only gave into the power of God!! Although he was a servant to start, he became Potiphar's "right-hand man" because he was under God's right Hand of power! Joseph's life was a witness to many. Through him, they could see what a blessed life living for The Lord looked like! But again, he did experience many tests & trials, yet he was faithful through them all! Potiphar's wife even tricked him & he ended up in jail for something he didn't do. Although it seemed like his reputation with Potiphar was destroyed, his relationship with God was still strong! And God raised him up once again!
"But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the Lord was with him, and that which he did, the Lord made it to prosper." Genesis 39:21-23.
Joseph prospered in everything he put his mind to, and in all the work his hands did...and that's because he cared about what GOD desired for his life. He knew God's Will would be done, and God would take care of him. So stay strong in the faith, and stay strong under the mighty Hand of God through a prayerful connection!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
