Still waiting?
Based on Daniel 1-2, 1 John 4
"that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven." Daniel 2:18-19
Are you still waiting on an answer? On an approval? Waiting for a change that seems LONG overdue? It's hard to be in the "still waiting" phase...but that's why the best thing we can do while we are "still waiting" is wait on The Lord! Have we asked God directly for an answer? Have we sought Him in prayer? The right answer will come if we seek The One Who is righteous! Instead of going into hiding, fearing he may be killed along with the other wise men, Daniel waited on The Lord in deep prayer. He didn't sit there and await his fate of death! And Daniel DID get the answer!
"Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:" Daniel 2:20
"he revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him." Daniel 2:22
Daniel didn't stop short in waiting on The Lord after the prayer stage was over & he got his answer...after he prayed, he praised! He thanked God for not letting him down & revealing the secret things to him which no man on earth could reveal. Just remember, when we wait on The Lord, a good pattern to follow is to wait, pray & praise our way through! Only God has the answers we seek (because HE is the ANSWER!).
"The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret." Daniel 2:47
We then need to share our victory with someone else! This revelation to Daniel was an answer meant for the king. Is our answer only meant for us? Or will it also help someone else? Let's think about that going forward!
Are you still waiting...on The Lord?

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
