STOP, LOOK & LISTEN!
"Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life." Proverbs 4:13. As much as we don't like to admit it, our kids aren't the only ones who need to practice obedience! God's ways & thoughts are always higher than ours. I've talked recently about the struggle to follow God's instruction. However, there is also the struggle to desire it!
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Isaiah 55:9.
We all have the urge to do things our own way. As I mentioned, sometimes we are in waiting periods...in those times, it's tempting to just do something for the sake of doing it just to feel accomplished. But there's no real goal & it's done in vain! God has important things for us to do. Let's spend our time wisely without wasting it by seeking God's instructions! 💕
