Such a Heart
Bible Reading Today; Deuteronomy 5-7
Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Do you have any hobbies? Things you're really passionate about? I'm sure there are at least a few things we know & love that tend to consume our attention. These things can become so special to us, near & dear to our hearts, that we want to know everything about them. It could be a certain instrument, writing, a sport, or just simply a passion to be a parent & raise a family. Whatever the case may be, you might find a group of people who are passionate about the same thing so you can relate, or people who know more about that particular thing so you can learn even more about it. The bottom line: we have a heart after those things! If we can put forth that kind of effort for those things, we should strive even more to have a heart after God! We can't just make a decision about God once, be comfortable with it, and never delve deeper in the things of Him! We can't keep the door of the Spiritual & supernatural things closed! We have to be open to the new things God wants to do in our lives, because we can ALWAYS expect the miraculous! Get ready!
"But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee."
1 Samuel 13:14

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
