Suitable for The Cause
Based on Isaiah 59-61, 2 Thessalonians 3
"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:" Isaiah 59:1
God is prepared for our worst. His Hand is ready to reach out & reach into our circumstance, and His ear is listening into our every prayer! He created us, so He is MORE than equipped to help us! But sometimes, we forget that. We look to the next best "suitable" person for the job, but no one is a doctor of the soul! That is Jesus Christ! He is suitable, because He suited up & to bed Himself in flesh to die for us & make a way that we may have eternal life with Him!
"And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke." Isaiah 59:16-17
When it seems like we're not getting much help elsewhere, and there's no one to tend to the deep issues we're having, there is GOD! He is dressed. He is equipped. He is prepared. He is ready. And...He has ALREADY paid the ultimate price! He fights for us. The battle is His! Don't drag the battle around as a lost cause...face The Cause with Jesus, and put on the Spiritual armor as you become suitable in putting on Christ & reflecting Him into our lost world!
"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;" Isaiah 61:1
"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith." 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2
These are tough times. So many people are bound. God's Word is being shut out of many places, starving people of hope & Truth...and love...we need to suit up! There IS an eternal cause! He suited up for us, let's suit up for Him!
