Surface Level
Bible Reading Today: 2 Kings 5-8
2 Kings 6:6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
Elisha's close connection to God in prayer made him a man of God which many put their trust in. He was a transparent person, the things of God were clearly his passion...he was able to show that his heart was after God through the surface of his being and through the works God did through him-like making iron float! When an axe head sunk, he made it swim! He fixed a deep & drowning issue...and that's what God does for us when we put our trust in Him! What gets buried & trapped comes to the surface...the truth of our heart is always revealed! The heaviest iron can swim to the surface again, just like the heaviest sins & weights of our past. It may take work, but when we work with Jesus, the release is so worth it!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
