Thank You, Fathers!
Bible Reading Today: Proverbs 27-29
Proverbs 29:17 Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
Thank you, first, to our Heavenly Father on this Father's Day! Without Him, we would not be celebrating our earthly fathers today. Without Him, we would not be alive! Our Lord has caused us to have life, and He works through our fathers here on earth to raise us into the people we are today. It takes correction, time, patience...and we know it's all done out of love! The Proverbs are great to read on Father's Day-all pointing to the importance of a father's strong hand & stance in raising children upon the solid foundation of Truth in the Bible-but I also love that this Scripture emphasizes the "pay-off" that fathers receive from the investment in their children: rest & delight! So fathers, I pray that as Pastor stated today, keep doing what you're doing! Young fathers-there will be rest & delight as you see your children prosper as their souls prosper. Older fathers-I pray you're experiencing & bearing the fruit of that rest & delight today. God bless you all & Happy Father's Day!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
