That's The Spirit!

Based on Isaiah 28-29, Philippians 3

"for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear."

Isaiah 28:11‭-‬12

We are usually told, "That's the spirit!" when we cheer up, encourage ourselves & do something that may not be easy. A somewhat similar type of scenario takes place when we seek to receive The Holy Ghost, The Spirit of God! When we seek after His Spirit, we don't only cheer up & become encouraged, we have a joy unspeakable! Even though it may not be easy to look different than the world's way of doing things, our whole perspective on the world changes when we receive Him & are able to say, That's The Spirit of God! As Isaiah stated so profoundly & prophetically, "for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people." We know that's The Spirit when that Heavenly language emerges from us!

"They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine." Isaiah 29:24

When we have the wrong spirit about us, one that's negative & in disagreement, we cannot be in unity with God & His church! We are not in a place where we can receive His Holy Spirit! But once we do humble ourselves to receive Him, we come to a greater understanding, and The Doctrine of His Word replaces any misunderstanding we might have had. That doesn't mean we don't have our challenging days even when we have God's Spirit, but with His Spirit, we are more equipped for the things we will face!

"For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh." Philippians 3:3

When we decide to live a Spiritual life, we can worship & rejoice, knowing the things which once afflicted us no longer affect us! We only have confidence in Jesus! Instead of saying, "That's the flesh." We now say, "That's His Spirit working in us!"

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 3:14

When those we love to see us continuing to press forward for Jesus, breaking away from the flesh & the world, they will surely say, "That's The Spirit!" Not only will our encouraging words minister unto them, but our very lifestyle will speak volumes! We can't give up this journey with Jesus! Keep going, "That's The Spirit!"
