The Answer Key
Based on Isaiah 43-44, 1 Thessalonians 2
"Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified." Isaiah 43:26
How great would it be to be able to utilize an answer key for each problem we face, all found in 1 book? Turns out, that 1 book of Truth is God's Word, The Word made flesh, Jesus our God Himself! He IS our Answer Key! We may think that we cannot relate to His Word because we are going through an issue that His Word speaks nothing about...but that's not true! Every Word read, and every Word prayed, leads us to the answer we need! God pleads through Isaiah to put Him in remembrance! There were people so desperate to steal the power & glory from God that they scooped up ashes to form a god...forgetting that The Answer Key was only a prayer away, or a Word away!
"and the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god. They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand." Isaiah 44:17-18
How long have we been holding onto the residue? How long have we been focusing on what hasn't been working...formulating our own answers instead of turning to God to actually solve the problem? Just like a false god created in Isaiah's time, we also find ourselves talking to a brick wall when we seek answers outside of God's Will for our lives! We need to turn toward Jesus again! He DOES hear. He DOES see. He WILL answer!
"Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me." Isaiah 44:21
God reassures us time & time again that we will not be forgotten of Him...but has He been forgotten of us? Have we put aside His Word because we refuse to wait on His answer? Pray His Word! You will receive encouragement even in the waiting period, even without having an answer...then soon enough, the answer WILL come! While the Answer Key of His Word has many keys that unlock the doors of problems to our lives, there are 3 major keys which will get us from this life to Heaven: Repentance, baptism in Jesus' Name & receiving the Holy Ghost! If we start with those, all other things will follow as we take these steps of faith! FOLLOW THE ANSWER KEY!
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
