The Body of Christ

Based on Leviticus 13, Matthew 26:26-50

When we repent and are baptized of water & Spirit into the Body of Christ, we become a part and a member of something far greater than our own mortal bodies. We become connected to and in love with the One, Jesus Christ, who has power over the body & flesh. He is King over all natural and supernatural! He heals all our diseases. He even helps us control our fleshly & sinful tendencies. He even overcame His own flesh in the garden. This is the powerful Body of Christ!

"When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests: And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean."

Leviticus 13:2‭-‬3.

God has a method of examination & treatment for every form of disease which manifests itself in human bodies. Back in Biblical times, the people relied on godly priests to diagnose these issues, because direction on these matters came straight from God! More doctors and scientists should go back to the True Book and rely on Biblical principles again! HE IS THE GREAT PHYSICIAN! And if we are to become and be part of the Body of Christ, I'm sure He is an expert on what His Body needs! He created and designed us from the start! He knows our bodies. He knows our hearts. He wants us to be a part of HIM!

"And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
Matthew 26:26‭-‬28

He gave His Body and blood that we may be close to Him, as a part of that same Body through repentance, and baptism of water and Spirit for the remission of sins! He came in flesh with the power already to heal bodily diseases and put fleshly desires to death. In doing this and resisting the devil and his temptations, he will flee from us! Jesus knows our bodies, and the only way to overcome our bodies' weaknesses is to be a part of HIS BODY!
