The Days Come

Gina Pietrzak

"5: Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6: In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." Jeremiah 23:5-6.

No matter what day it is, days are always coming. Something is always ahead of us. And unless we are in Christ, the future is unknown territory. Thank God He takes us in the right direction, away from destruction! The days come & go, but God is eternal!

"7: Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8: But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land." Jeremiah 23:7-8.

The days are still coming, but the days are already here when we should tell someone about Jesus, His Truth, His salvation, His way! The day is here. The time is running out. People need Jesus!

"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)"
2 Corinthians 6:2.

Everyday can be a day of salvation, but we need a boldness like Jeremiah to accomplish the task! People need to hear about the Acts 2:38 plan of salvation of immersion in water in Jesus' Name & receiving His Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in new tongues! Think about it...the world has had it's way leading us to stormy waters, so let's be led to the peaceful & calm waters where Jesus will set us free from the bondage of our past, just like Jeremiah spoke of the people coming back to God after their cooperation in captivity.

"5: Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
6: For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
7: And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart." Jeremiah 24:5-7.

Not only would there be a physical return to the land, but a return of heart as well! It would be genuine. It would be pure. They'd be living for God & loving Him out of desire and not just desperation. Jeremiah spoke of a beautiful day like that...and so can we!

Everyday is a beautiful day to live for Jesus. I can say confidently that there are never any regrets! The days are coming. People are suffering, especially in the season of life we are in...today is the day to share some Good News!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
