The Director

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Leviticus 17-18, Matthew 27:27-50

"After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord."
Leviticus 18:3-5

Even when it looks like things are out of control, God IS in control! HE IS THE DIRECTOR; THE SCRIPT IS WRITTEN! We can only live if we do and keep His commandments & ordinances!

Again, God is in control...but He is not controlling! In fact, He gives us the ability to choose whether or not we want Him to be The Director. To call the shots. To guide us...think about it...He is the Creator, so He must know how to best be the Director! Don't be closed off to His leadership in your life!

"Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 18:30.

Let's not stray toward the "No Trespassing" sign! There's always good reason...and it's not to keep us out of something good, it's to keep us inside something better! GOD'S PERFECT WILL! Choose Jesus every time!

"And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS." Matthew 27:37.

Because He was worthy to go to the cross for all of us, HE IS KING. HE IS DIRECTOR!

"Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour."
Matthew 27:45

God never lost His power!! The same God who said "Let there be light" went to the cross for us and allowed great darkness. All we can think of is how...

This is how: He is Director. He is Jesus. He is King in control no matter if we allow Him into our personal life or not...He has the final say when the time comes...let Him be Director in your life!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
