The Father's Family

Based on Numbers 3-4, Mark 3:20-35

All the families of the tribes of Israel played significant roles in bringing the tabernacle together and putting things in place. It may seem at times like things are falling apart, completely dysfunctional, chaotic, unintentional, maybe even without purpose...but God can use any family! He has blessed us with so many family members, and the more we ask God to help us keep things in order (just like the tabernacle), the more He will! He is our Heavenly Father, and He has a plan for each one of us!

"For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother." Mark 3:35.

The best family we could have is the one who strives to be close to Jesus, our Heavenly Father. The family who chooses to follow Jesus as King and leader will truly thrive & prosper. We will always come up short if we don't work at building our family upon The Rock, The Word! Does that mean perfection and no more conflict? Nope! But we sure have a better handle on things when we place it all in God's Hands!

"This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;" Numbers 4:28‭-‬29

...And the list goes on! So many families, so many important things to do for The Lord! As it says in an old song, "Only what's done for Christ will last!"

"And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand." Mark 3:25.

Let Jesus, our Father, our God, unify your family! If there are people or situations that are falling apart, let God piece it all together. Allow Him to use your family in a mighty way through a devoted life...today!
