The Final Say

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Jeremiah 34-36, Hebrews 2

"Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words."

Jeremiah 36:32

Jeremiah spoke to Baruch all the words of the prophecies of God...then the scroll was brought to the king, and the king burned it in the fire! What a cruel form of rejection...but God never bows to rebellion! His Word has the final say, no matter what the world & those in authority think! After this happened, Jeremiah & Baruch went through the same process, and even MORE words were added! God always has a plan. His Word is never destroyed, and never returns void! Seeing the strength of His Word, we must apply it to our lives every day!

"Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip." Hebrews 2:1

"Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him." Hebrews 2:8

God is in control! We can't let His Word slip, because He has exalted His Word above His Name! His Word is strong enough to get us through any trial. He loves us enough to let His Word be our protection & be spoken into our lives...He will have the final say in eternity, so we must let His Word reign now! No fire can stop The Word of God!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
