The Good, the Bad & the Godly
Based on Ecclesiastes 1-3, 2 Corinthians 11:16-33
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:"
Ecclesiastes 3:1
So many situations, ebbs & flows, and ups & downs happen to us in life...we try to judge everything on how it makes us feel-good or bad. Under these circumstances, our happiness doesn't last. We are just looking for the next good thing instead of our good God! Good & bad happen to all, but in those times, we can have a godly perspective which allows us to have joy, no matter the outcome!
"a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;" Ecclesiastes 3:2
Things start & things end...we can hold bitterness, or we can hold onto the promises of God! We can understand that God has a precious timing & reasoning for everything, yet prayer makes the difference! Prayer intercedes in tough situations! Prayer changes things! But joy comes only by accepting the Will of God, and seeking the Will of God! That's one thing which can never be changed, but if we pray our way into His Will, we will have a greater understanding of our circumstances & a greater sense of joy through it all!
"in journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;" 2 Corinthians 11:26
In all the different perils of Paul, he still had faith & joy on his journeys! He faced the good, the bad & had a godly outlook through it all! In all his near-death experiences, he had a love for God that overwhelmed him more than his current situations! I pray I develop that kind of depth of faith, love & trust to the point where I find that joy & peace! I pray it for us all in Jesus' Name! Through the good & the bad, let's stay godly, holy & Spiritual through it all!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
