The Greatest Love
Based on Malachi 1-4
"I have loved you, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the Lord: yet I loved Jacob," Malachi 1:2.
We never have to question whether or not God loves us! In fact, His love is greatest, and His love came down in human form at Christmas time when God Himself, Jesus Christ, was born in the manger. Since the beginning of time, from the prophets of old, His way has been prepared...we just have to prepare the way in our hearts, to love a God Who has the greatest love for us!
"Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?" Malachi 2:10.
We need to show more of the love of God to others! Every word and action we can show to express love is so needful, especially now. God is our Father & Creator. As the true Parent of us all, He understands us best, so He understands how to love us! Let His love into your whole heart, and give your whole heart to Him this Christmas season!
"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts." Malachi 3:1.
Like preparing for Christmas gatherings or any type of celebration, we need to prepare our hearts to celebrate & love The Lord! Spend some quality time with Him. Be reminded of what this season truly stands for. Let God refresh some joy in your soul!
"Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord , and that thought upon his name."
Malachi 3:16.
God still loves you. He has not forgotten you. Remember that today! Remember the love of Jesus, the greatest love, and don't be afraid to show some love back in the form of thanks & praise!
