The Greatest Pain Reliever
Bible Reading Today: 2 Chronicles 28, 2 Kings 16-17
2 Kings 17:14 Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.
Sometimes, we need to stretch. We feel a stiffening, a pain, or a cramp that is relieved only through some type of stretching out or working out. And just as this happens physically, we can also Spiritually get a little stiff & cramped too! When we don't regulary exercise our faith, looking up in praise, raising our hands, kneeling down, speaking out our prayers, we become a little stiff-necked! We become content with just looking around us, but not extending ourselves further. We believe that the world is easier to see than God, so we stop there...but eventually, we get some pains. Cramps. Aches. And that's because we have a body & soul that only our Creator can properly tend to! We never want to get to the place where we harden ourselves against God, just because we can't put our pride down to praise! Release those pains to God through prayer & praise! The Greatest Pain Reliever is Jesus, so praise Him without holding back!
