The Greatest Workout

Bible Reading Today: 2 Chronicles 27, Isaiah 9-12

2 Chronicles 27:6 So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God.

By building out our workouts, weight upon weight, we build strength. We become more muscular. We become toned & healthier after each time of exercise. Physically, I am not speaking from experience...although this is something I'd like to start gradually lol. Spiritually, however, this is something I've been trying more & more to implement into my life. The above Scripture states that Jotham became mighty because he prepared his ways before The Lord. It doesn't say that he won a trophy for being the strongest, most muscular person at the time...it doesn't say that he had the best physique of all kings...but it does say he was mighty because of his preparation in the things of God! While his body may not have shown it, his heart, character & soul reflected what a mighty God we serve! The greatest workout to become mighty is sharpening our skills in The Word of God! Also, if we pray about our physical health and put healthy habits into practice, God is able to bless us with that as well! We can be mighty in all angles when we focus on Jesus! Forget the newest exercise equipment-purchase a Bible instead!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
