The Journey Continues

Based on Genesis 33-35, Matthew 10:1-20

"And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve: The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun: The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin: And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali: And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Paddan–aram." Genesis 35:22‭-‬26.

Jacob (aka Israel) had 12 sons. God had a promise for all of them to grow, multiply & expand into many nations. It's hard to see the magnitude of what we are doing in real time. To see how far our dreams, goals & aspirations will go. If we believe God, they will go a long way! Don't sink into give-up mode! If it's in agreement with God, it will multiply!

"And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land." Genesis 35:11‭-‬12.

That's a far-out promise! One that would unfold for generations to come! So many new births of people would eventually lead to new births of many souls in the New Testament! This is because after those 12 sons went out into the nations and physically multiplied, there came the 12 Apostles of Jesus which Spiritually went out and multiplied the church!

"Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
Matthew 10:2‭-‬6.

All the nations were formed for the mission of these 12 Apostles! They eventually were instructed to reach both Jew AND Gentile! Every person, every nation, all those that came out from the generations of Israel until now! There's always a Spiritual, Scriptural reason for everything God has planned!

You never know what God is going to do with what you already have. Don't give up! Let the journey continue! See what God's going to do over the course of this thing. Don't lose hope. Don't lose vision. Don't lose your goals for 2021 and the future to come! Pray for God to guide you in the right direction & see how much your dreams expand further than you ever thought possible! It may be a tough road, but it's worth it! We are in this together, and God will bring the joy in this journey!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
