The King of...

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Psalms 23-25, Acts 21:18-40

"Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle." Psalm 24:8

Our God is King over all things! He is King over all His creation...but ultimately, He is the King of glory! The strongest, mightiest & most powerful! The One who fights our battles! He is so much more, so far beyond King of the things here on earth...He is King in the Heavens, and He is everlasting!

"Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah."

Psalm 24:10

The list can go on & on to display what He is truly King of...and every day we remind ourselves is a day spent understanding that we don't have to worry, because He is in control! Who is He? He is JESUS! And He wants to be King of our hearts too! Invite Him into that place where you worry. Invite Him into that place where you fear. That's where He truly desires to be on the throne...the throne of our hearts!

"Shew me thy ways, O LORD; Teach me thy paths." Psalm 25:4

"All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies." Psalm 25:10

The King's paths are mercy & Truth, but we must keep His testimonies! Acts 2:38 is that start to the heart of it all! Getting personal with our King overall means allowing His Spirit to dwell in us, and washing away our past without Him!

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

"And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people..."Acts 21:40

Paul was bound in chains, being led to prison, but he pleaded to speak with the crowds of people on his way there! Paul knew what a mighty King He served, and knew that, as in last post, he had to speak up...NO MATTER WHAT! God always has great things ahead, even if this world doesn't! He is King. He is Almighty. And He is awaiting the throne of our hearts!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
